Why can't we employ trains efficiently to save time of public in correct system so that railway is not in loss . Specially to Improve bus transport and make them Go faster to save time of public. Or are you going to introduce any other mode of transport?

Thank you for your inquiry. Transport is a priority sector for the NPP, with a strong focus on enhancing public transportation to meet 70% of the country's total transport needs within four years. We plan to significantly improve the railway system by converting all single tracks to double tracks, double tracks to triple tracks, and extending the network to cover all major cities. Additionally, we will increase the frequency of train services. Our plan also includes 24/7 bus services that will cover urban, rural, and estate areas. Specifically how do you plan to attract international investors experienced in tech startups? 2. A lot of university research are not grounded in local resources, needs, and opportunities. There are well tested models elsewhere like innovate UK, ARPA, etc. 3. What is your plan to uplift local entrepreneural culture? Do you plan to upgrade the education system to include creativity, risk management, and enterprise leadership?

To attract international investors, we will establish tech hubs and innovation zones and foster partnerships with global tech ecosystems. We will also make the regulatory processes simpler.

There's only one special Children hospital at Sri Lanka which is Lady Ridgeway at Colombo. What's your strategy and solution for other part of country? Most hospitals don't have proper doctors with knowledge and experience. What's your move on that?

We are committed to significantly increasing state funding for health to ensure that hospitals across the entire island are equipped with the necessary facilities to provide quality care. Decisions on whether to establish additional hospitals dedicated to children's healthcare or to appoint specialist doctors and create specialized units to treat children within existing hospitals will be carefully considered and made at a later stage.
