Hi, while I greatly appreciate the efforts taken by the NPP to set an example to the public by cleaning the areas and surroundings where the May Day rallies were held, I'd like to know what measures will be taken under a NPP government to maintain the cleanliness of the streets, public places, and sensitive eco-systems, as cleanliness could be viewed as a key characteristic of a DEVELOPED nation. Improper disposal of garbage, stray animals, poorly designed drainage systems, etc. are some of the factors that lead to this problem. While these problems have a lasting negative impact on the environment, they also indirectly affect the economy, as they could leave a negative impression on tourists that visit the country. Best Regards.

Thank you for your appreciation of NPP. Maintaining cleanliness of the streets is the responsibility of the local authority. The central government regulates the functions of local authorities. Regards

Education policies and future frameworks for education have become contentious political topics. However, upon observing speeches and discussions, it appears that many politicians and even some educationists lack a clear vision for the future of education, particularly regarding teaching methods. In essence, with the emergence of advanced AI tools such as Large Language Models (LLMs), teaching is evolving into teaching "how to learn." This shift is driven by the availability of learning materials and technologies, which reduce the necessity for traditional subject-based teaching and instead require guidance on how to effectively utilize these resources for learning. It is essential to highlight this paradigm shift in both public addresses and debates to distinguish between traditional and modern teaching philosophies. This information is provided for your reference, and feel free to disregard it if you find it irrelevant.

This inquiry pertains to a statement made by one of your members during episode 539 of the "Balaya" TV program, aired by Hiru TV on April 25th, 2024. Nalin Hewage's remark, "එ කාලේ මැරුනා මෙහෙමයි, ගොඩාක් ගම් වල හිටපු ස්ත්‍රී දූෂකයෝ,කසිප්පු කාරයෝ, හොරු කාරයෝ ටිකක් මැරුනා," followed by a slight smile, raises concerns. Smile is a facial expression, it may contain any underlaying message. I highly doubt that the hidden message with that smile was, its ok to hurt people with such types of behavioral patterns, that he has stated in the statement, that's been quoted above. Please give your clarification for this because the fact that I have stated above is not something that can be neglected. If there is such an attitude within your members, as the voters we should highly doubt our votes.

Thank you for your inquiry. One can make own manifestations . However , the particular TV talk show was represented by three political parties . Except for the NPP representative , the other three SJB (1) and pohottu (2) members were attacking the NPP. My worry is JVP lost lives of 60000 of its members. No body talks or apologizes about it. The killers are still at large . Kalubalallu, Kahabalallu, PRRA, SRRA are some of them and they are still in the parliament. No body talks about Ranil's Batalanda slaughter house. People point their fingers at the losers whereas it should be the other way round. Regards

I am a retired public servant who has researched an article/report on the topic of " "playing blind man's buff" with Free Trade Agreements. Basically it is an exposure of way the Government is negotiating Free Trade Agreements?( I am the former Director/General of Commerce.) Are the Policy Makers of NPP interested in receiving this article? If so, to whom should I email it?
