I recommend our road median line should be yellow instead of white, the yellow hard shoulder line marking (which indicates the driver can't park) should be white instead of yellow, that would make drivers easier and alerted to know whether they're driving on the correct lane and direction, that's why its easier for people to drive in the USA. I've seen United States interstate freeways have 2 hard shoulders in each direction on 6 lanes and more than 6 lanes (3 lanes in each direction and more than 3 lanes in each direction). We should have them as well for the safety of drivers. Also in the United States, they have road diets. Most cities in the USA have coloured curbs (white, green, yellow, red, blue). I want them all to be in Sri Lanka by the end of the first year of under an NPP government.
