1. 1. What is the npp policy regarding to maintain large number of Sri Lankan Armed Force ? How will Armed Force utilize for rebuild country or How will reduce strengths without damage to national security ?

Thank you for your inquiry. The NPP is committed to a professional military focused on national security and contributing to national rebuilding. We plan to restore the defence forces under competent leadership, engage them in community development, and ensure they are equipped for their roles. Any changes to the size of the Armed Forces will be made with careful consideration to ensure that national security remains uncompromised.
