I am a sri lankan who has been away from my home country for too long, but making plan to make my home back in Sri Lanka. I will be residing in Athurugiriya most of the year. I am very excited to see the changes happening in political scape of my country and would like to make a contribution in anyway I can. Why you guys produce and publish about kottasa saba. ( electrol council) it is confused not nowing much what to explane to others. Non of you specifically says on internet.

Thank you for your inquiry. Kottasa Sabhas are grassroot level NPP political organizations. We have established a Kottasa Sabha in each GS division. 90% of GS divisions have been covered now. If you have any more confusions , please let us know . Regards

The question is about the policy and controls in Sri Lanka for the education system of Muslims . Despite there were incidents and instances where we saw the media and findings of Muslim radicalism and teachings in Muslim that brings up children to hate other religions, it it’s true that there was so much of propaganda during the Easter bombing times to bring up issues or incidents were exaggerated or false., but within that it also shows some true situations about Muslim only schools and teachings that teaching certain radical ways and not appropriate for the society. It is not right to let this go on despite the deals and religious teachings as it creates an animal like culture . It has been a warning for many in the world that it leads to barbarism. What is NPP going to do to those schools, education systems , contents in books and how will this be handled if you come to power . Thanks

Thank you for your question. In Sri Lanka , education system is not properly regulated though there is a ministry and provincial departments . School registration is not properly monitored and many organizations have powers to register schools . E.g. BOI, Company Registrar , Muslim Affairs Department etc. Some schools are not registered at all. Education cannot be in the hands many and it should be properly regulated . In an NPP government , all education matters will be handled by the state i.e. ministry of education . Such irregularities will be rectified within the first year in office . Regards
