what is your policy on the Banking Industry especially with government-owned banks? Are going to start new banks for entrepreneurs ?
Thank you for your inquiry. The NPP envisions a strengthened banking industry focused on enhancing government-owned banks and supporting entrepreneurs. Key initiatives include recapitalizing state-owned banks for stability and efficiency, improving access to financial products tailored for small businesses, promoting microfinance and cooperative banks, and prioritizing financial inclusion for underserved populations. Although there are currently no immediate plans to establish new banks specifically for entrepreneurs, our focus will be on enhancing access to financial services through existing government-owned banks.
