I would like to bring below idea as a proposal. We can see our Sri Lankans, specially young generation are how interested in clean politics and system change. I believe we should use this positive advantage in right time, it is today not tomorrow. People who is working specially in government sector who is supporting NPP ideas, should start providing their best service for their customers by changing their attitude by thinking who pay their salaries. They should show the people now, what kind of system change & service we will provide under a NPP government. This idea is same for private sector employees too. Staff can follow below few ideas. Your professionals can take the basics of this ideas and create a professional campaign. Wish the customers whoever he/she is Always show their helpfulness by words & actions Talk with a smile Listening to their requirements carefully Give them correct information, refer them to correct section/place Advise them the easiest way to save their time / money Explain them available services and their advantages Let the customer know exact time whatever the tasks takes Show courtesy at every time Always make sure customer is leaving the office with happy feelings I have seen following notice before few years at the reception desk at Dubai Police Head quarters at Al Murugabath. It says “I am your servant, how may I help you”. What a positive and happy feelings they give when a customer enter this place. When “Gota” comes to power, young people start painting walls with big hopes & dreams, they spend money & time for that campaign. Let we start this “System change” campaign as a rehearsal, also ASAP, only should give big publicity to this campaign to know the people what they can expect from future NPP government.
