I am/have been a strong supporter of this movement. In fact, when I come to Sri Lanka (come every year for six months at least) and meet my friends or ride a cab, I promote your party in a very convincing way. But I am little disappointed by watching the current cricket issue in the parliament live telecast and I was made to understand (through Minister Roshan Ranasinghe's speech) that your party was absent/did not take side with majority when opposition and government stood together. It gives me and the general public that you are under the influence of Shammi Silva as well. Please explain your stand on this. Also, I heard about a similar situation involving Dhammika Perera and JVP led (comrade K. D. Lalkantha) union organizations. Please shed some lights on that as well.

It would be very valuable if an integrated mechanism to protect national resources, including government institutions that provide essential public services, and profit-making state enterprises, could be started under the affiliation of the National People's Power. If this program can be given the guidance of the National People's Power, the giant of Sri Lankan politics, it can definitely achieve a huge victory.
