NPP Lawyers has launched an awareness campaign to educate the general public about the adverse repercussions of the Online Safety Bill that has been proposed by the government. On the 17 of October, Lawyers of the NPP distributed handbills around the Fort Railway Station area, and there was a tremendous response from the pubic. Senior Lawyers Harshana Nanayakkara, Sunil Watagala, Janaka Adikari and many others joined the campaign. The lawyers of NPP will organize a series of protest campaigns around the country and will take all possible efforts to defeat the passing of the Online Safety Bill and the Anti Terrorism Bill in the parliament.
