This morning (16th), The Presidential Candidate of NPP, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, had a meeting with the Chief Incumbent of the Ramanna Nikaya, Most Venerable Makulewe Vimala Thero, at the Mirigama Kandangamuwa Sri Vidyavasa Piriven Maha Viharaya. During the discussion, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake explained to the Nayaka Thero and the Maha Sangha the current political situation in the country and had received their blessings for the upcoming presidential election. Mr. Vijitha Herath, MP, a National Executive Committee Member of the National People’s Power (NPP) also joined him.
