Today (17th), the Presidential candidate of NPP, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake met with His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith at the Archbishop’s official residence in Borella. They discussed the current political situation in the country, and Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake received his blessings, as well as those of the Rev. Fathers, for success in the upcoming presidential election. Mr. Vijitha Herath, MP, and a National Executive Committee member of the National People’s Power (NPP) also accompanied him on this occasion.
